Waters & Wood, Inc. was incorporated in 1992 and has been providing marine construction services for residential waterfront properties throughout King and Pierce Counties and the Puget Sound region for more than 30 years.
Our work includes docks, piers, and gangways built for the pacific northwest.
Docks & Piers
We provide marine construction services for residential waterfront properties, including new dock construction, repairs, replacements, and modifications to existing docks and piers. Each project is evaluated based on the homeowner’s needs, property conditions, and applicable permitting requirements.
Marine Fabrication & Custom Features
We design and build custom marine components to support and enhance waterfront structures, including gangways, canopies, railings, and other fabricated metal features. Fabrication is integrated into our marine construction work to ensure proper fit, durability, and design.
Shoreline Permitting
Marine construction projects often require shoreline permits and agency review. Where applicable, we coordinate required permitting as part of the project scope to ensure work complies with local, state, and federal regulations and is completed in accordance with approved requirements

They built a dock for us 20 years ago which is still in mint condition. It is stable and has lasted. Recently we purchased the lot next to us and the dock on that lot needed some work. We thought we could drive poles in by ourselves. Turns out we were wrong. Waters and Wood came out quickly to finish the job.
